Alain Molina
Ballet
Alain Molina, a native of Cuba, started ballet training at age of 9 at the Escuela Vocacional de Arte and entered at the National Ballet School in Havana at 14. In 1994, Mr. Molina began his professional career with the National Ballet of Cuba under the direction of Alicia Alonso. In 1997, he danced with the Ballet of the S.O.D.R.E. Ballet Company in Montevideo, Uruguay under Elena Madam Vera.
Mr. Molina was a founding member of Carolina Ballet for 13 seasons where he danced many principal roles. Mr. Molina currently guest teaches and coaches in the triangle. He will be leading classes on Saturday mornings and we are honored to welcome Alain to NCDI. |
