Debra
Sayles Senchak
Guest Ballet Instructor
Debra
brings an impressive 25 years of professional stage experience
to NCDI. She was the Prima Ballerina with the New Jersey Ballet
dancing many ballet styles including choreography by George
Balanchine, Edward Villella and Margot Sappington. Ms. Senchak's
training included studies at American Ballet Theatre in New
York City, Washington School of Ballet and New Jersey School
of Ballet, where she became a faculty member. She has been
instrumental in developing many dance programs. Ms. Senchak
is co-founder of Infinity Ballet and has received certificates
of completion for the Teaching Method of Classical Dance from
the Classical Conservatory of Dance.
Her classes are deeply
rooted in the classical tradition and she is noted for her
technical clarity and disciplined use of ballet vocabulary.
Her students are motivated and encouraged to maintain their
classical ballet studies to further their education in other
forms of dance.
