Jessica Jaynes
Children's Jazz and Ballet, Creative Movement
Jessica received her training at North Carolina Dance Institute under the instruction of Kirstie Spadie and Debra Sayles Senchak. She has been working with Kirstie for over eight years.
Jessica studied in New York with Explore Dance Performance directed by Bob Risso. While in NYC she worked with Scott Johovavich and Broadway veteran Ben Vereen from Fosse. Jessica studied with Galina Panova at East Carolina University. She has been in many local productions including The Wizard of Oz, Oliver, featured as “Laura” in A Christmas Carol with David Ira Wood II and Carolina Arts Festival Broadway Rocks with Terrance Mann and Jacques D’ Amboise. She was featured in The Portrait with Gregory Peck and Lauren Bacall, directed by Arthur Penn. Jessica was a member of the Peace College Dance Company and toured North Carolina this past year in the North Carolina Dance Festival with Nick-Walk Dance Project, directed by Joan Nicolas-Walker. She performed with NCDI in the North Carolina Arts In Action debut performance.
Jessica is currently completing her last semester at Peace College and will graduate in December with a B.A. in Child Development and a Dance minor. |
