Lauren Hodges
Contemporary
Lauren
began her dance training at Ann Freeman Dance Academy in Hickory,
North Carolina, studying ballet, tap, jazz, modern and hip-hop.
In high school, she was a junior member of the Carolina Dance
Masters chapter of Dance Masters of America and participated
in numerous conventions and intensive programs.
Lauren attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill (UNC-CH), where she majored in public policy. While at
UNC-CH, she continued her ballet training, served as treasurer
and choreographer for the Star Heels Dance Team, and was a
member of Modernextension Dance Company.
Now working as a product owner in the software industry, Lauren
continues to nurture her love for dance as a member of NCDI
and is excited to share her passion for the art form with
the next generation of dancers.
